How It’s Going This Tax Season
Thank you to everyone who has uploaded, dropped off, or sent in your tax documents so far! Your timely submissions help make this tax season smoother, and we are working diligently to complete returns accurately and efficiently. Our current turnaround time is 6–8 weeks from the time we receive all documents.
We’re following up on missing documents and clarifying questions via email and phone. Please help us by sending complete documents and any information we’ve requested.
How to Upload Additional Documents
If you need to send us additional documents, the easiest way is through your secure NetClient Portal.
For guidance, watch our tutorial:
To upload documents:
- Log into NetClient
- Click “ClientFlow” in the left menu
- Open the folder with your name
- Click “Upload” and drag your documents into the pop-up window
- Click “start upload”
Tips for the best experience:
- Chrome and Firefox are the preferred browsers. Please avoid using Safari.
- Access NetClient using a desktop or laptop computer, not a mobile device or tablet.
- File types accepted: PDFs are preferred; Word and Excel are okay
- Avoid image files such as: JPG, PNG and TIFF
- Do not upload files in a zipped folder
What is Form 8879 and Why Do I Need to Sign It?
Form 8879 authorizes us to electronically file your tax return on your behalf. Without it, we cannot file your return.
We will contact you when your return is ready and your Form 8879 is available for signing. Before signing, please review your return carefully.
Paying Your Invoice and Your Taxes
You can pay your invoice to ITS online.
We also accept payment:
- In person with check or card
- Over the phone with a credit or debit card
When your return is filed, you can pay the IRS directly through the convenient link on your NetClient portal if you choose not to have the amount auto deducted. If you receive a refund, you can track the status of your refund on the IRS website: Where’s My Refund?
Drive-through Drop-off Success!
Our first Drive-through Drop-off event was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated and shared such great feedback. Many of you told us the experience was easy, convenient, and even motivating—exactly what we hoped for.
In total, 34 clients drove through our garage to drop off their tax documents, even more than we expected for our first year. We’re already thinking up ideas to make next year even better!
Haven’t Started? Do So Today
If you haven’t uploaded or dropped off your tax documents yet, please do so as soon as possible. Complete documents ensure we can prepare your return efficiently and keep the season running smoothly for everyone.
